My Bloglog? Is It Worth While?
We all have heard of it, as a way to help boost your blog and all. But is it really worth it? Does it work? Do you really gain traffic by connecting with people? Here is my review.
I have been giving it a whirl if you have been wondering, and thus far into my research it hasn’t helped me at all. My bloglog widget on one of my other blogs hasn’t moved in a long time. It appears to me “good” for some people, but I haven’t been impressed with it at all. I don’t believe I have gained any traffic with its help and I don’t think it has helped me any.
Sure, maybe if your Obama it might help, but if you are a normal blogger, don’t expect much out of it.
I read how the whole concept is supposed to work:you use an actual picture of yourself and then everytime you go on someone else’s blog your face will show up on their widget. By showing your face its supposed to stir interest in people to come and see your blog.
The whole flaw is that MyBlogLog hasn’t caught on, most bloggers don’t have a MyBlogLog widget. In addition, the community is rather limp, there’s not much to do on it to promote your blog. Twitter is better.
I have never tried My Blog Log and I guess I won’t after your review. Thanks for the heads up.
Hi Miss Tech, have you ever tried Entrecard? It works pretty well as a traffic exchange.
